We at luxekashmir are honored to be part of working artisans from Kashmir- India. to allow them to introduce their art and our tradition directly to the audience without any exploitation for profit. These artists have talent and have worked hard to create each piece, they deserve so much more than they are paid for their work. There are so many companies in India and around the world that make fortunes from the work of these artists, yet these artists struggle for their day-today needs. Imagine an artist carving a bed for $500 and a few months later same bed is sold for thousands of dollars in the retail market. ​I am a proud son of an artist, my father is a well-known artist, and he served this industry all his life as a needle embroiderer, my cousin's brothers are still working as shawl makers. Therefore, I am deeply committed to supporting artisans by bringing their exquisite products to the Western world. Our goal is to ensure they receive the recognition and fair compensation they deserve, enabling them to better support their families and provide for their children’s future. We aspire to leave a lasting impact on the world, promoting a deeper appreciation for craftsmanship and fostering sustainable livelihoods across generations.
